How time flies!

So as I was sitting here realizing that Noah will be 4 months old on Tuesday, I couldn't believe how fast the past few months have absolutely flown by. It seems like just yesterday we were finding out that we were expecting a sweet little boy, and now he's not only here, but he's gotten so big and is doing all sorts of new tricks. Some of his feats now include laughing out loud (which is my new favorite sound in the whole world), making a motorboat sound while blowing spit bubbles (which he finds quite funny and does all the time now making it difficult for us to keep him in a dry outfit for longer than about 2 minutes), rolling over from his tummy to his back, and standing all on his own (he of course needs help keeping his balance but has been able to completely support himself for at least a month now and even tries to take steps now). He's got several more new tricks and I have documented some of them with pictures.

He can fit almost his entire fist into his mouth, and for those of you that have seen his hands, you know that he has the hugest baby hands, probably close to the size of a 2-year-olds', so this is quite the amazing accomplishment!

Noah is also learning to call the Hogs...something he hasn't quite mastered, but then again, this may not have been the best year to get him so excited about the Razorbacks. But don't you worry, by next football season, he'll have this down.....maybe he'll even know the fight song by then.
And I know this may be hard for you to believe, but our sweet little boy has also mastered the art of a good old temper tantrum, complete with pouty little frowns and big ol' crocodile tears. It's probably the most pitiful thing I've ever seen, and it's usually hard for me not to laugh at him when he decides to throw one. I promise I'll try to be more sympathetic in the future....

This first picture was in the initial pouty stages of the tantrum and this next one was after he realized I was trying to take his picture right in the middle of his performance....not funny, mom!

And last but not least, he's finally big enough to get in his little jumper gym and actually touch the floor, and he loves it now. He tries to get all of the toys on it in his mouth and he gets really mad because he can't quite reach them. But he loves being able to stand and jump in it and it really entertained him for quite a while...
