Over the Thanksgiving holiday, we decided to start Noah on cereal. We had asked the doctor about it at his last appointment, and he said we could if we thought he needed it. Well, that night he started waking up several times during the night and continued that for the next week. And of course, me being convinced that anytime he does something out of the ordinary it means there's something wrong, thought that meant he was hungry and that we needed to start him on some foods. So we did. I'm not sure if that was the reason or not, but he has started sleeping better again and he seems to love the cereal....maybe I was actually onto something. The first few bites were met with a slightly confused look and lots of sticking his tongue out. Then he got the hang of it and would kick excitedly between each bite as if to say, "More, more, more!!!" I guess if I ate the same thing every day for 4 months, I'd be ready for a little variety too. And of course, by the end of it, he thought he was a pro and he could just feed himself...grabbing the spoon from me and trying to stick it in his mouth, not wanting me to help. Mr. Independent....I wonder where he gets that from?

Don't you just love those bright blue eyes???

And here are just a few random pics from our Thanksgiving travels. This is Nanette and Papaw at their house.

Here's little man just scooting around on his little car at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He was already a wild man on this thing, so I fear the day 16 years from now that he might be driving an actual car....we won't think about that for now.

And I just couldn't resist this picture with his Elmer Fudd Razorback cap. All he needs is a little rifle and he'd totally be ready to go hunt for wabbits.

Finally, our exhausted guy on the way home.
